Border Force are hosting a public facing 2-day Anti-Slavery Day event on 18th & 19th October run by its National Safeguarding & Modern Slavery Team. To be held in Liverpool at the Merseyside Maritime Museum, which includes the Border Force National Museum and the International Slavery Museum
There will be Border Force Cash dogs present and GLAA (Gangmaster and Labour Abuse Authority) staff will talk about their work in the investigation and prosecution of instances of labour exploitation.
On Saturday 19th October, A21 will lead a global Walk of Freedom (Liverpool centre) to raise awareness of human trafficking. The event will have Border Force Senior Executive Officer (SEO) representation and will be advertised, in partnership with the Museum, to encourage members of the public to attend. We are hoping for a diverse group of attendees, including school groups and families.
